dc.description.abstract​This demo presents the simulation of an electric vehicle featuring: (i) pmsm motor, (ii) power electronics, (iii) batteries, (iv) mechanical drive modeling (taking road profiles into account) and (v) observers and controllers. The HIL/RCP simulation of the electric vehicle is achieved as follows: the system is divided into two real-time simulators, the first dedicated for the electric vehicle and the second for the controller. Realistic aspects are studied, such as: (i) faults and system failures, (ii) performance of the controllers and (iii) numerical stability.
