Three-phase Grid Forming Inverter

Title: Three-phase Grid Forming Inverter
Abstract: Generic EMTP model for a three-phase aggregated grid-forming inverter (GFM inverter). Applications include stability, fault, harmonic, dynamic, and interconnection studies. The GFM inverter can be modeled as: droop- based, virtual synchronous machine (VSM)-based, dispatchable virtual oscillator (dVOC)-based, or a PLL-based.

WRDB: Wind Resource Database (US & International)

Title: WRDB: Wind Resource Database (US & International)
Abstract: The Wind Resource Database (WRDB) is a collection of modeled wind resource estimates for the United States and various countries around the globe of various lengths up to over 20 years.

Most of the data are available in 5-minute (min.) intervals at 2-kilometer (km) spatial resolution. For the United States, uncertainty estimates are also provided.

For a given location covered by a dataset, it is possible to see the wind resource either at a given time or averaged over a certain period. We also provide several other meteorological quantities needed for wind energy research.

Virtual Synchronous Machine Grid-Forming Inverter Model Specification (REGFM_B1)

Title: Virtual Synchronous Machine Grid-Forming Inverter Model Specification (REGFM_B1)
Abstract: The model specifications of droop-based GFM (REGFM_A1) and VSM-based GFM (REGFM_B1) have been adopted by WECC. The model specifications can be accessed through the following links. The REGFM_A1 model has already been released in major commercial transient stability simulation tools including PTI-PSS®E, GE-PSLF, PowerWorld Simulator, and TSAT. The REGFM_B1 model is expected to be released in those tools soon.
