dc.description.abstractThe motivation for this effort was to import the Texas 2000-bus synthetic data (published by Texas A&M University) in OPAL-RT's transient stability simulator, ePHASORSIM, and run it in real-time with a time-step of 10ms. However, the dynamic parameters of excitation systems and turbine-governors of some generation units must be tuned to have a stable dynamic simulation. The submitted RAW and DYR files are reflecting these adjustments. Furthermore, the real-time implementation of this network in ePHASORSIM will be useful to test, design, and validate WAMPAC applications.
